WOMEN TAKE USATF NJ 10K ROAD TITLE...

TThe sun shown brightly for the women on Sunday as they used a 1, 3, 4 finish to win the USATF-NJ women's 10km road title at the Cherry Blossom 10k road race, held at Branch Brook Park in Newark.

KC defended her road title from the previous year touring the course in a time of 37:41. Megan Phillips returned to the roads here and had a solid 3rd place finish in 39:04, with Christy DeFilippis rounding out the scoring right behind in 4th at 39:48. Christine Corey also turned in a top 20 finish in 18th place to round out the Runner's High team for the day.
