Mizuno Runners High now USATF Elite Development Club!!!!!!


Runner's High, a specialty running store located in Metuchen, NJ which caters to everyone from the elite runner to the casual walker, is proud to announce that it has been approved as one of 30 Elite Development Clubs in the country by USA Track and Field. In Conjunction with Mizuno USA, the club has and will continue to allow post collegiate distance runners the opportunity to develop and achieve continued success toward making national and Olympic teams.

Recent men's acquisitions include: Scott DeFilippis, a St. John Vianney & University of Tennessee alum, who most recently placed 17th at the United States Half Marathon Championships in 1:05:44, Billy Hoffman, a Christian Brothers Academy & St. Joseph's University alum, who recently placed 11th at the United States Marathon Championships in 2:24:39, and Nick Pellegrino, a Marlboro H.S. & Monmouth University alum, who has run 14:12-5000m on the track.

Recent women's acquisitions include: KC Meehan, Brick H.S., & University of Virginia alum who has run 27:42-8k on the roads, Sacha Scott, originally from Colorado, who is a 2006 Indoor Nationals qualifier in the mile who recently ran 2:43-1000m, and Julie Culley, a North Hunterdon and Rutgers University alum, who is a former Division 1 Cross country All-American.

The Elite Development Club is intended to support USATF's efforts to develop nationally and internationally competitive athletes by enhancing and increasing the number of year - round training environments available to post-scholastic and post-collegiate U.S. athletes.
